“Hello, can you see me?” Hologram in a Mall parking lot

"More than 30% of the drivers in Russia take disabled parking spaces without caring about the signs on the ground. Dislife, a Russian non-profit organization, came up with a powerful campaign to stop this inconsiderate behavior. They installed projections of a real disabled person that popped up every time a non-disabled driver tried to park in their space. Special cameras verified the presence of the disabled sticker on their windshields and if no sticker was detected, the hologram would appear to confront the driver."

 That looks haunting as heck.

Make Love No War

New Axe commercial. I am not a huge fan of the recent products of theirs ( the one I liked was discontinued)  but thought this commercial film was purty cool and touching.

Triumph owner VS Honda owner AD

The bike owner

He loves motorcycles.  He’s knowledgeable about them too.  He’s aware of all the models, their features and their specs.  He’s a pretty good rider and has an understanding of why certain handling characteristics are important.  He thinks his machine is the most beautiful thing on the road.  It’s luxurious.  It’s powerful, it’s fast and it’s as futuristic as tomorrow.  It has plenty of weight and bulk for highway cruising and an array of buttons and switches to make his life easy.  It’s exactly what he wants.  He’s very typical, He’s an enthusiast.

The Triumph owner

He loves motorcycles too, but his interest goes far beyond facts and figures.  He understands their simplicity.  He’s more than just a good rider, his vaster experience enables him to feel every subtle difference in handling that an average motorcyclist might not notice. He too thinks that his machine is the most beautiful thing on the road.  But to him his beauty lies in the perfect blending of form and function.  Above all else he appreciates the fact that his bike has been painstakingly engineered for performance, handling and response.  It’s exactly what he wants, He’s very rare.  He’s an expert.

Given a fact that all of British motorcycle makers nearly bankrupted after the introduction of  the Honda CB750 four, this ad sounds like a sore loser.

Grey Poupon "The Lost Footage"

I was forced to watch the first 5 seconds of this ad at youtube. I ended up watching the whole thing.

ICON 1000 Dromedarii

Very odd ad of ICON 1000 Dromedarii. I don't know what to think of it. I like the bike, though.

Honda Cub ad

From 1960's weekly magazine in Japan. Cub was advertized as somewhat an off-road bike here. In fact, in the US, many beginner riders converted relatively cheap Honda cubs into scramblers. Some cleaver Honda dealers were started to sell modified version, equipped with a higher pipe and off-road tires

Ducati Multistrada: 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

"Carlin Dunne dominated the 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, setting the new course record for motorcycles today from pole position for the second year in a row on a Ducati Multistrada 1200 S. This win marks Ducati's third-straight victory at the historic race to the clouds."

This is basically a Ducati ad. Would have been nice to see whole run with on-board

F1 in New York & New Jersey

I did not think driving a formula 1 car in NY is possible outside of Grand Turismo game anyway...I had my hopes up seeing the car flying around the Times square... but enjoyed the footage regardless. I hate Redbull.

Corona Light- Mark

This advertisement is the most depressing and apt description of our generation. I can’t decide if the agency who created it are geniuses or total assholes. Via: Her Jazz
