Zackees turn signal cycle gloves

But when I was a child, bicycle makers likes of Miyata, Bridgeston installed very motorcycle like turn signal/indicator in order to market toward kids dreaming about being a motorcycle rider- like myself was. Some turn signal was more like car's.
Anyway those are created by former Google software engineer Zach Vorhies, called Zackees illuminated turn signal gloves. As vintage motorcycle riders, we often ride vintage bikes that were not required/ equipped to have turn signals and we have to do hand signals. These look dorky, but some of us might want to consider giving this product a shot when they are on market. It has been kick-started

Vaco12 -Bean Bag Helmet
"Originally designed for orthopedic rehabilitation, Vaco12 technology uses vacuum cushions filled with millions of small, round beads to provide better fitting, more protective sports gear. The beads simultaneously provide a snugger, more comfortable fit on your head and are said to absorb impact up to four times more efficiently than traditional foam - just what's needed in sports like skiing and snowboarding in which professional and recreational athletes are constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible." Do you know the shape of skull is quite different depending on the race? My round skull will not fit right on European helmet. Tight on sides, loose on front and back. The same with ten gallon hat. Kinda sucks when you buy high-dollar ones on-line and not having good fit. Also not fitting tight all around means less protection, so this bean bag idea is seem pretty swell to me. But it is not for motorcycle riding; wonder when they make ones for motorcyclists.

Workshop Manual
You get Clymer, Haynes manuals to work on bikes because they are cheaper to get. And soon you might notice some mistakes or total lies in those manuals. For example, Clymer manual for GL1000 (Goldwing) shows carb jets in wrong holes. The funny part is that it's been reprinted many times since the seventies and the mistake has never been corrected. I could not find how much of compression should CB750K have on Clymer manual. They make mistakes about metric measurement ( like one freaking digit off) as if they don't care for Metrics users...

A lot of old mechanics prefers factory shop manuals. They are written by those who build the bikes thus should be better. Yet some says that those manuals assumes readers are trained motorcycle mechanics so beginner might have hard time following it. The best thing you can do is to get all of manuals available for the bike. Yeah, gets expensive if you buy them all, but you can always find on-line manuals for free if you are willing to spend some time in front of computer. Here are some links you can try. Carlsalter, Repair manual Club.
Also you can find forums for your model of bikes. They can usually direct you to the right places. Good luck. Remember, some manuals lie! Like this one. I can't find any parts they mentions in there other than Holoprojector lens, which was an overhead passenger cabin lights from old Vickers Viscount 700 passenger turboprop, BAE 748 and BAE Beech King aircraft.

Magnic Light.
I want to support this thing. I am not much of cyclist, but did my time back in the days. There would be cool on motorcycles, too.
Visit kick starter to support this project.

Project Aura: Bicycle Safety Lighting System
"Riding at night can be a daunting and dangerous task; many biking commuters are faced with the issue of being obscured when riding on the streets. Visibility at night is a vital component of biker safety, hence the need for reflectors and attachable lights. However, some of these devices are not always effective especially from the side.
We created a system that requires very little rider input and maintenance, while increasing the visual footprint of bikers from all directions especially from the side. We accomplished this by expanding the surface area of light emitted through the use of RGB LEDs inside the rims of the wheels that change from red when slowing down to white when at cruising speed.
It should be noted that Project Aura is a lighting system which allows a rider to be seen, but does not replace a forward facing headlight to illuminate the roadway. By law (in Pennsylvania, the laws vary state by state) a front headlamp and rear reflector are required, use of a rear blinky is up to the rider‘s discretion.

Carbon Fiber Steorm Trooper
4 guys who work at San Diego Composite made 4 full Stormtrooper suit out of carbon fiber. Their employer loved the idea so he donated some material. Labors are also free since those guys work at the place. If you order one as a customer, the price would be closed to a pretty nice bread new car, they say. One of the suits is displayed at a lobby of the company.
