Brutus the useless SUV of motorcycle

Alessandro Tartarini, son of Italjet founder Leopoldo Tartarini, presented a new concept motorcycle at the EICMA motorcycle show. The bike is named Brutus and claimed to be the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) of motorcycles. Haha!! Brutus is equipped with a 45 bhp, DOHC, four-valve, liquid-cooled 750cc engine with electronic fuel injection and "two-speed" CVT with optional reverse gear. The motor itself is from typical off road bike, but the weight is 220kg, which is in the same class with Ducati Multistrada, BMW 1200 GS. Yeah, just like most luxury SUV, this bike seems to be useless in off road. And according to Gizmag, its suspension travel is like the half of the typical adventure tourers'. (3 inches at the front and 4 inches at the rear). Also the big rims and wheels provide nothing but adding extra weight and looks. The press release for Brutus suggests it has been designed "outside the box and beyond fashion and sterile market analyses" Sounds like an excuse of making shitty unusable custom bike. Well, rich man's hobby, I guess. Nice to have tons money you can waste.
