Motorbikes in Movies

Via: Bikesure

I don't if this is because UK thing, but there are bunch more other worth mentioning bikes and characters in movies. I would take Goose with his Kwaka from Mad Max over Golden Eye, or Resident Evil.

After The Rain

It is a 1999 Akira Kurosawa tribute movie. Features people who have worked with the legendary director. Its screenplay is written by Akira Kurosawa. I personally annoyed by the crappy acting done by a son of Toshiro Mifune, Shiro Mifune. Other than that it is fairly a nice movie especially those who misses the feeling of typical Kurosawa movies of the 60's.

The Best Bar in America- Film Trailer

Trailer for the feature film arriving Spring 2013. A whiskey-fueled writing assignment takes one man on an epic motorcycle road trip through the bars and taverns across the American West. Riding a 1960 BMW R60/2, the journey leads Sanders from the red rock deserts of Arizona and Utah north to the mountains of Montana. With help of fellow traveler and sage, Northway, and a variety of other colorful characters along the way, Sanders gets learns the way of the road and the zen of the bar.

Directed by Damon Ristau and Eric Ristau. Starring Andrew Rizzo, David Ackroyd, Gregory Collett, Lee Rizzo, Walt Hefner, Steve Hodgson, and Jim Harrison

It sounds cool but reminds me of 70's cheesy biker movies... I don't know if that's their aim.

New RoboCop on a Motorycyle

I guess there will be a remake of 1987 Sci-Fi movie, Robocop. Geez... they have to remake every darn movies of 80's? The new Robocop will be played by a Swedish American actor, Joel Kinnaman and other cast will include Gary Oldman, Sam L. Jackson, Micheal Keaton, and Abbie Cornish ( of Sucker Punch). And the director is José Padilha, who is known for Elite Squad.
From the picture, new Robocop is a lot slimmer, its suit reminds me of Kamen Rider's and seem to keep the human hand. Not a tribute to late Micheal Jackson, I assume...

Anyway, I am putting this post just because he rides a cool looking motorcycle. I bet the UD replica is gonna make the freaking Motorcycle suit....

By the way, Ryan and I are waiting for the remake of  Remo Williams.

Silver Dream Racer

Silver Dream Racer is a 1980 British movie, starring David Essex, Beau Bridges and Cristina Raines. I was doing research on movies that features motorcycles and ran into this one.
This clip entertained me. Mmm... the sounds of 2 stroke... If you don't mind the movie chopped in 8 parts, you can watch the whole movie at YouTube. Starting here

RIP Henry Hill

Henry Hill, the famed mobster turned FBI informant whose life story was documented in the book "Wiseguy"- upon which Martin Scorsese's 1990 gangster epic "Goodfellas" was based - has died at the age of 69.
He has been sick for a long time and his ticker just decided to quit seems like. He sure outlived many of his former associates.   I wonder if he get reunited with Tommy.

Happy 40th

He will be new Judge Dredd. The bike look weird. Probably will not turn well. Maybe made by Parker brothers. All of their bikes don't turn well at all.
