Engine dis-assemble /assemble documentation animation
Started out as just a collection of snaps as I stripped down an engine bought off ebay. (To replace my old engine, which had suffered catastrophic failure). The snaps were so that I remembered how everything went, so I could put it back together again.
Then I realised it'd be quite cool to make it an animation. found some suitable music, rekindled my ancient knowledge of Premiere, storyboarded it, shot it as I worked on the engine (my poor DSLR got covered in engine oil), this was the result.

Suzuki GT750S Vallelunga
Suzuki GT750S Vallelunga was based on 1973 GT 750 K' model. GT750 was water-cooled 3 cylinder 2 cycle monster, considered as ugly bikes back then but on the other hand, it has some cult like following and they are called "kettle" or "water-buffalo" because of water-cooled fin-less motor looking somewhat like a kettle. Vallelunga was a limited edition created by SAIAD, Suzuki’s Italian importer. Said, less than 200 units were made, and probably as few as 85, just so that the bike could qualify for the 1973 Italian championship races.

Animated timeline of all F1 seasons: 1950-2012
DSS Warehouse
"David Silver built the business that bears his name with the supply of
new ‘old stock’ parts for Honda motorcycles bought from dealers and
distributors. He began 25 years ago, back in 1986, with the purchase of a
couple of hundred pounds worth of obsolete petrol tanks and mudguards
and now carries a mountain of spares for more than 1000 different
models. The massive inventory includes the most comprehensive range in
Europe for machines of the Sixties, Seventies all the way through to
2001 models."
David Silver Spares, known DSS is not a Honda dealership. You can say that he is one of the biggest Honda fanatics of the world. DSS not only sells new "old stock" parts but also manufactures obsolete parts such as side covers, gas tanks, badges, calipers and so on. I stumbled across the pictures of company warehouse. I am sure that this is making vintage Honda fan drool.

July 2nd 1937: Amelia Earhart disappears
On this day in 1937, the famed aviator Amelia Earhart and her navigator Fred Noonan were last heard from before they disappeared. They made contact whilst flying over the Pacific Ocean in an attempt to make the first equatorial round-the-world flight. Soon after they went missing, a massive search operation was launched but to no avail. Her fate remains unknown to this day.
